Obama allies with al-Qaeda against Syria; how heavily is Australia involved?

The British, Barack Obama, Israel and Australia (under Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd) are so hell-bent on “regime change” in Syria that they are now allies of the very terrorist network against whom we have sent troops to their death, and given up our civil liberties to fight a “war on terror”—al-Qaeda.

Al-Qaeda’s alliance with the anti-Syria warmongers sheds light on the truth about Syria that the news media have deliberately covered up to aid and abet the British-Obama drive for war.

The Assad regime is not targeted for overthrow because of ostensible “human rights abuses”, but because Syria is an ally of Russia (hosting Russia’s only naval base in the Mediterranean, for instance), and the British and their puppet Obama are driving for a thermonuclear first strike against Russia and China. The British Empire’s speculation-based, trans-Atlantic financial system is collapsing by the minute, and the British have no intention of letting Russia, China and India emerge as the world’s dominant powers while Britain, Europe, and the United States just disintegrate in a self-inflicted financial holocaust worse than that of the 14th century “New Dark Age”.

U.S. statesman and physical economist Lyndon LaRouche on 14^th February denounced President Barack Obama’s “homicidal hypocrisy”, following revelations that al-Qaeda has joined the Western-led coalition to oust Syrian President Bashar al-Assad from power.

“At every public opportunity, Obama touts himself as the President who killed Osama bin Laden,” LaRouche said. “But now we have concrete evidence that al-Qaeda members have been infiltrated into Syria from Iraq to carry out atrocities, targeting the civilian population, as well as government officials. This is the height of homicidal hypocrisy—just what we have come to expect from our Nero-like narcissist President.”

On 10^th February, the McClatchy News Service published a report by Washington, D.C. correspondent Jonathan Landay, confirming from U.S. intelligence officials that al-Qaeda was responsible for a string of suicide bombings in Damascus and Aleppo, that killed hundreds of civilians and wounded many more.

The Landay report began: “The Iraqi branch of al-Qaeda, seeking to exploit the bloody turmoil in Syria to reassert its potency, carried out two recent bombings in the Syrian capital, Damascus, and likely was behind suicide bombings Friday [10^th February] that killed at least 28 people in the largest city, Aleppo, U.S. officials told McClatchy. The officials cited U.S. intelligence reports on the incidents, which appear to verify Syrian President Bashar Assad’s charges of al-Qaeda involvement in the 11-month uprising against his rule.”

The very day that al-Qaeda carried out the two suicide bombings in Aleppo, President Obama repeated his denunciation of President Assad, calling for his removal from power and accusing him of “outrageous bloodshed”.

Once again, al-Qaeda has been integrated into U.S. and NATO covert operations. In fact, that is who created al-Qaeda in the first place: the U.S., Britain and Saudi Arabia sponsored bin Laden and the “Mujahideen” which gave birth to al-Qaeda, to fight against the Soviet Red Army during the 1979-1990 Afghanistan war. More recently, al-Qaeda allies from the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group were an integral part of the U.S.- and NATO-led coalition that ousted Muammar Qaddafi from power, and then executed him while in custody.

Two days after the publication of the Landay exposé of al-Qaeda’s role in the violent campaign to overthrow Assad, Ayman al-Zawahiri, the co-founder and nominal head of al-Qaeda, issued an eight-minute video, calling for a Jihad against the Assad government, thus further confirming the U.S. intelligence estimates of the group’s on-the-ground operations in Syria.

LaRouche demanded: “What the hell does Obama think he is doing, aligning with these al-Qaeda murderers—and so openly? Hasn’t he been briefed on 9/11?”

Citizens Electoral Council leader Craig Isherwood today also condemned the alliance with al-Qaeda. Responding to the report in the LPAC video, Obama’s Alliance with al-Qaeda?, that British MI6 and SAS forces are already on the ground in Syria working with al-Qaeda to foment violence and insurrection, Isherwood said, “I demand to know if Australia’s SAS are also being used currently in Syria to start a war, in league with the terrorists that are killing their fellow soldiers in Afghanistan. We know the Australian SAS are used for such operations; for example, we found out after the Iraq invasion in 2003 they were sent in before any formal war declaration, to help launch it. Is this happening again right now in Syria, but this time as allies of al-Qaeda?”
