In a shameless report issued yesterday, the CSIRO and Bureau of Meteorology continue to push the global warming scam despite all scientific evidence that human influence on climate is negligible. The report, Climate Change in Australia tells us to brace for catastrophic heat waves, bushfires, drought, severe water shortages and sea level rises as climate change causes widespread havoc. This is one big lie!
Billions of dollars are at stake and the "scientists" pushing this new kind of a religion no doubt know the politically correct buzzwords to utter. However, the sad reality is, as is intended, we will pay through the nose for a problem that actually doesn't exist. The financial oligarchy's big business assets are all too pleased to push this scam as evidenced from Al Gore's recent address to Melbourne's business elite, but it may be too late if Australians wake up only when our electricity, gas and petrol prices go through the roof.
More carbon dioxide will actually help the environment through the process of enhanced photosynthesis. Carbon dioxide is only a minor greenhouse gas—95% of the greenhouse effect is from water vapour and clouds. And as any geologist would know, 450 million years ago, when carbon dioxide levels were ten times higher than today, the earth went into an ice age.
While John Howard and Kevin Rudd tinker with carbon trading and geosequestration projects that are a net loss to the economy, China is building two coal-fired power stations every week. The CEC is committed to reindustrialising our failing economy—not shut it down, sending our jobs to third-world sweatshops as both the ALP and Liberals are doing.
The mainstream media generally ignores the thousands of scientists protesting the global warming scam—many of them are even with the IPCC. However, non-scientist bureaucrats sideline them while writing up summary reports for a complicit media. Medical researcher Dr. Klaus-Martin Schulte recently completed a study of the ISI Web of Science database on all scientific papers from 2004 to February 2007. Of the 528 total papers on climate change, only 38 (7%) gave an explicit endorsement of the so-called consensus view of man-made global warming. In fact, of all the papers published in this period, only a single one makes any reference to climate change leading to catastrophic results.
Here is what some of those among the majority of scientists who disagree with this global warming hype, have to say:
Prof John Christy, IPCC lead author and head of Alabama's Earth System Science Centre: "I've often heard it said that there is a consensus of thousands of scientists (who say) humans are causing a catastrophic change to the climate system. Well, I am one scientist, and there are many, that simply think that is not true."
Prof Yuri Izrael, IPCC vice-chairman: "There is no serious threat to the climate."
Prof Richard Lindzen, former IPCC lead author and Professor of Meteorology at MIT: "There is no substantive basis for predictions of sizeable global warming due to observed increases in minor greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, and chlorofluorocarbons."
Prof Antonio Zichichi, President, World Federation of Scientists: It's plausible "man is not to blame."
William Kininmonth, head of the Australian Bureau of Meteorology's National Climate Centre (1986-1998): "The evidence advanced by the IPCC, that human activity will cause dangerous interference with the climate system, is illusory."
Dr David Evans, former climate modeler at the Australian Greenhouse Office: "New evidence has weakened the case that carbon emissions are the main cause. I am now skeptical."
