This New Citizen Extra is a wake-up call to you, the youth of Australia! The world is facing a very bleak future, even more so since the Bush/Cheney Administration utterly failed to deal with the Hurricane Katrina catastrophe, which means the world's supposedly most-powerful nation doesn't function, and doesn't even care about its own citizens. We also face the threat of pre-emptive thermonuclear war with Iran now being pushed by Dick Cheney and his "Spoonbender" gang. (See New Citizen Supplement September, 2005) That and similar wars are being driven by the collapse of the world's "globalist" financial system. That system is based upon real estate, derivatives and other bubbles in the hundreds of trillions of dollars, and it is now blowing to smithereens.
Thus, physical economist and U.S. statesman Lyndon H. LaRouche Jr. has called for a return to the principles of the 1944 Bretton Woods agreement, whose premise was the idea of the "General Welfare". To make this a reality he has created a youth movement of 18-25 year olds who are changing world history right now!
Presently, there is a culture of death among young Australians, which was purposely created to desensitise and even terrify us. This culture is typified by rock music and video games, which were cooked up in British Intelligence's psychological warfare bureau, the Tavistock Institute, along with its U.S. spinoffs, in order to brainwash youth. These video games have created mass killers as seen at Columbine, Littleton and elsewhere, as well as zombifying anyone who plays them. Our generation was produced by our brainwashed parents' generation, the Baby Boomers, who were laboratory rats in the great social engineering experiment of Tavistock and the Congress for Cultural Freedom, which was unleashed beginning with the 1960s rock/drugs/sex counter-culture. This degenerate culture now rules the world. In its guise as empiricism, it is also the garbage drummed into you at uni.
The antidote to this garbage is a Classical education based upon the idea that truth is knowable and can be discovered, in both science and art, which is the basis for the curriculum which the LaRouche Youth Movement (LYM) is studying internationally. The great German poet and dramatist, Friedrich Schiller, for instance, and Johann Sebastian Bach, with his Jesu, meine Freude motet, exemplify some of the best of Classical culture. Australia once had the beginnings of such culture too, which must be revived and enriched using the best of the world's Classical culture, as Australians have done in the past.
