Professor Meets With Obama; Finds Him Depressed About Being A Dictator

October 1, 2009 (LPAC)—The alma mater of Barack Obama, Occidental College, (of Eagle Rock, CA notoriety), ran a front-page story in their latest paper about Prof. Roger Boesche, and his meeting with Obama in the White House last month. (The professor taught Obama back in 1979, and Obama had mentioned the professor as a positive influence.)

The story fills about three or four pages, all praising Occidental College for cultivating the first black President, and what Obama ate for breakfast, lunch, and dinner while at school there; but, the noteworthy part of the article is the professor's account of his actual meeting with Obama, as discussed with the student reporter, quoted below.

"Besides pleasantries, what did you guys talk about?' I asked.

"I gave him my tyranny book and told him that if everybody in the State Department read it, they would completely understand places like North Korea. He was looking at the book, studying the cover."

The cover has the word "Tyranny" in bright bold letters against a background of famous tyrants: Mao Zedong, Stalin, and Hitler.

"[Obama] said, thoughtfully, 'Some people would think that my photo should be on this,' Boesche recalled.

"You try and get something like health care and you get called all sorts of names. I found myself trying to cheer him up," said Boesche.

The meeting was a total of 12 minutes, and the only thing Boesche could report, was that he had to cheer up Obama about belonging in the picture gallery with Hitler! He did this by telling him how great of a speaker he is, how smart he is, etc.
