"The Big Winner in August Was Lyndon LaRouche"

September 5, 2009 (LPAC)—On National Public Radio's nationally-syndicated talk show "On Point" Friday morning, during a round-table discussion of the health-care debate, a caller from Newton, Massachusetts complained about a Lyndon LaRouche supporter getting news coverage at one of the Massachusetts town hall meetings.

Newsweek's Eleanor Clift, in a lying denial of the reality of the mass-strike ferment sweeping the nation, said that the press, by giving coverage to a "minority of a minority," has given the impression that there is a rebellion brewing in the county, and she further complained that this has colored people's attitudes, and as a result, the White House has lost control of the healthcare debate.

Jonathan Weisman, who, interestingly, is the White House reporter for the Wall Street Journal, concurred with Clift's lie, that undue attention has been given to all the screaming and yelling. "And look, I think the biggest winner of August was Lyndon LaRouche," Weisman said emphatically. "A lot of these people who are just being aired as spokespeople for angry Americans really are—like that Barney Frank altercation—are followers of Lyndon LaRouche, who usually would not get the time of day from the press."
