LaRouche's National Spokeswoman Interviewed Live On BBC

August 14, 2009 (LPAC)— LaRouche's national spokeswoman, Debra Freeman, was interviewed, live on BBC on Thursday. The way the announcer introduced the topic was to go through the mounting opposition to Obama's healthcare reform — she said that most of the opposition centers on the fact that the Obama plan is modelled on Britain's NHS "which American Republicans have labelled as evil." "But," she said, "the fiercest opposition has come from the LaRouche political movement, and we're speaking with LaRouche's spokeswoman, Debra Freeman."

The reporter asked what was wrong with the NHS and went absolutely berserk when Debra Freeman told her! The reporter insisted that NICE had absolutely nothing to do with NHS and the real issue was that Americans simply don't want to provide health care to the poor. The more Freeman spoke, and the more documentation that she provided on the total catastrophe in the British system since the introduction of NICE in 1999, the more agitated the reporter became. By the end of the interview, Freeman could tell by the phone signalling that most of what she was saying was being edited out AND the reporter was so thoroughly worked up that it was becoming more and more difficult to understand what she was saying through her "mouth full of marbles" accent.
