Royal butt-kisser Abbott flashes his Union Jack underwear

Tony Abbott’s stunning, jaw-dropping, flabbergasting decision to fulfil some personal fantasy in his own head by dubbing Prince Philip a Knight in the Order of Australia confronts Australians with a very disturbing question:

To whom is our UK-born PM most loyal: the British Royal family, or the Australian people?

Abbott is obviously a Royal butt-kisser, but the particular object of his affection, Prince Philip, is such a creepy, insidious Royal we now know just how sycophantic and doting Abbott is:

The Nazi-educated Philip is personally cruel and callous, and hero worships the evil Parson Thomas Malthus, who was so notorious in 19th-century England that he became the basis for the character Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens. Malthus condemned those who helped the poor, and advocated instead that poor people should be forced to live in crowded, unsanitary conditions to “court the return of the plague” so that regular pandemics could kill them off in large numbers and keep their population in check. (One of Malthus’ students at the British East India Company’s Haileybury College, Sir Charles Trevelyan, went on to apply his methods as British administrator of Ireland during the Great Famine of 1845-49 in which two million Irish perished while British landlords maintained a constant export of food from Ireland to overseas markets.)
Prince Philip infamously declared to Deutsche Presse-Agentur in 1988 that he would like to be the pandemic that Malthus advocated: “In the event that I am reincarnated, I would like to return as a deadly virus, in order to contribute something to solve overpopulation.”
Prince Philip’s genocidal obsession with population reduction would have made him thrilled at the recent Ebola outbreak in Africa. If that seems unbelievable, this is precisely the sentiment he expressed to Australian scientist Sir Gustav Nossal during a tour of the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute in Melbourne in 1988. In his book on the institute, “Diversity and Discovery”, Nossal recounts, “Having seen our work aimed at a malaria vaccine Prince Philip expressed the view that this would do more harm than good because it would augment the population explosion in Africa.” When Nossal breached royal protocol and argued the case, “His Royal Highness was not impressed and moved on to other topics.”
It was to achieve his dream of mass-genocide of human beings that Prince Philip in 1961 co-founded the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) with former Nazi Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands and the President of the British Eugenics Society Sir Julian Huxley. The WWF was established to raise funds from wealthy individuals and multinational corporations to finance the work of Huxley’s International Union for Conservation of Nature, which used the money to clear whole swathes of Africa of native people, and declare them nature preserves. Philip founded the WWF not six months after he was photographed, alongside his wife, with a rare Indian tiger he’d just shot; the nature preserves in Africa have since been regularly used by the super-rich for hunting the elephants and other animals that the public assumes are being protected. In 2012 the President of WWF Spain, King Juan Carlos, injured himself hunting elephants in Botswana. Meanwhile, having unleashed the green movement, the Queen and Prince Philip and their offspring have nevertheless maintained their regular pheasant shoots and other anachronistic aristocratic pastimes.
Prince Philip in 1963 ordered Australians to establish a branch of his WWF, which became the Australian Conservation Foundation. He personally led the ACF as its president from 1971-1976, during which time he interfered in Tasmanian politics by flying an RAF plane to Hobart and confronting Premier Eric Reece over the flooding of Lake Pedder. Philip tried to throw his royal weight around, and the confrontation turned into a shouting match, which means that to his credit “Electric Eric” Reece had the temerity to shout back. The ACF activists Philip led later started the world’s first green political party.
Finally, Prince Philip was a menacing figure in the life of Princess Diana. When Diana understandably reacted to her farcical marriage to Charles, and spoke out, leading to her divorce and expulsion from the Royal Family, Prince Philip sent her a series of threatening letters which a friend of Diana’s called the “nastiest letters Diana had ever received”. Another friend reported that Diana said to him, “I am sure that Prince Philip is involved with the security services. After this, they are going to get rid of me.” Perhaps Philip’s bile for Diana was because she devoted the last years of her life to her anti-land mines campaign in order to save human beings in Africa, and not to kill them as Prince Philip desired.

This is the person that Tony Abbott has singled out to honour with a feudal-style knighthood. When Abbott is asked by the Anglo-Americans to commit Australia to their military escapades in the Middle East, or to lead the propaganda effort against Russia that risks nuclear war, as he has done, is he even capable of distinguishing Australia’s independent national interest, or is his umbilical cord to the Royals so strong that “his is not to reason why”?

The CEC has long led the fight for a truly independent Australia, in the form of a real republic centred on a democratically-elected head of state which enshrines sovereignty in the people, and a financial system independent of London and Wall Street that is based on a sovereign National Bank, as King O’Malley, John Curtin and Ben Chifley envisioned the Commonwealth Bank would be.
