“Even with the help of Prince Philip, Satan himself could not have issued a more vicious attack on humanity than did the Anglican Church Environment Working Group in its recent statement, The Sustainable Conservation and Use of Australian Water Resources with particular reference to the Murray Darling Basin”, proclaimed CEC national leader Craig Isherwood today.
“Cloaked in pseudo-Christian rhetoric about how ‘God is sovereign over His Creation’, and that ‘the Christian message is one of hope’”, Isherwood said, “the Anglicans in fact call for a drastic reduction in water for irrigation via their astounding claim that it is the greedy farmers—the ones who in fact have developed this world miracle of irrigation—who are destroying the Basin: ‘Whether the people and creatures of the Basin flourish or not depends on the extent and distribution of rainfall within the Basin, and the just use of this resource. The ever-present issues of greed and pride and their consequences, that beset human endeavour, must not be allowed to overwhelm our commitment and hope of seeing all creation, plants, animals and people, flourish.’
“These guys are so nauseatingly pious they would make even the Devil retch,” Isherwood continued. “In fact, the Anglican statement excoriates actual Christianity—that human beings by virtue of their unique powers of human creative reason are created in the image of God the Creator to ‘have dominion over the earth’, exactly as has been done in the Basin. Instead, these Anglican fruitcakes pronounce that ‘The defence of those unable to speak for themselves, whatever form they take, has always been part of the church’s business and we would wish to stand with those who are now struggling with the consequences of past policies and farming practices.’
“What crap!
“You want to know what’s going on here?”, asked Isherwood rhetorically. “It’s the same old, same old: The Anglicans are just lying toadies for Prince Philip, as usual, just as with their viciously anti-human submission to the Sustainable Population Strategy inquiry last year. As our October/November 2011 issue of the New Citizen exhaustively documents, it was Prince Philip, the Royal Virus himself, who created the WWF, the ACF, the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands and all the other major Green Fascist institutions that have long crusaded to shut down the Basin, on behalf of his oft-proclaimed intent to reduce the world’s population from its present seven billion down to one billion or less. And of course this genocidal maniac just happens to be the consort of the head of the Anglican Church, Queen Elizabeth.
“You think these oh-so-holy Anglicans are concerned in the slightest about the countless human lives which will be lost or destroyed if the present plans to slash irrigation go ahead?!” Isherwood exclaimed. “With their gnostic, actually pagan version of Christianity, they claim that they are standing up for the plants and animals in the Basin who can’t talk. Just on that account, were they even mildly honest, they would acknowledge the reality: that the development of the Basin has enabled a far greater quantity of plants and animals to flourish, than if the Basin were left in its undeveloped state of large tracts of desert. Not to mention that the Basin has been developed over a century with one intention: the natural human inclination to provide for the ‘common good’, in this case to feed tens of millions of human beings in Australia and beyond, who are all God’s children, each of whose life is therefore sacred.
“But I’ll tell you how slimy these Anglicans are”, Isherwood continued. “The Anglican Church hierarchy is fully aware that this kind of pro-Green paganism spits in the face of actual Christianity. So what they did is they set up this Environment Working Group which trumpets all its ‘findings’ and ‘position papers’ under the official title of the ‘Anglican Church’. So you think it is all official Anglican Church policy. But just in case someone nails this stuff for the anti-Christian filth it is, in order to cover their wildly exposed behinds the Anglican bosses stick in a disclaimer down at the bottom in fine print, literally in a footnote at the end of the documents released by this Anglican ‘Working Group’: ‘The Environment Working Group is empowered to release discussion papers under its own authority. It is an advisory body for the Anglican General Synod Standing Committee and does not carry the authority of the Anglican Church of Australia.’
“The Anglican hierarchy would make the Pharisees blush!” concluded Isherwood in disgust. “But if you want to fight to save the lives and livelihoods of tens of thousands of precious human beings in the Basin, and the food supply of countless millions more, then you’d better tell the truth: This is all coming from the British Crown, and solely for the purpose of mass murder on a scale to dwarf Hitler’s wildest dreams. And if you’re an Anglican, you’d better go ask your ministers what the Hell they think they are doing.”
