Redefine the concept of "Green"

  • Media Release 26 August, 2010
Those deadly, green Nazi solar panels

Not only does solar energy cost more to produce than it gives back, but rooftop solar panels are dangerous to your health and hearth. In Germany, Australia, and the U.S.A., fire brigades are warning of the deadly threat of fighting blazes associated with solar panels.

In Germany the issue has recently become a major news item. While city and local governments, swept by the Green mania, are demanding more rooftop panel installations, many fire authorities have warned that fires cannot be fought on houses with rooftop solar panel units, and the property will be completely destroyed.

The largest solar panel blaze in history took place in June 2009 in Germany at the warehouse complex of BP Solar! Talk about “accident prone”. BP’s 200 square metre array, at Bürstadt, near Mannheim, was one of the largest roof-mounted installations in the world. And it was fabricated by BP Solar.   Read more...

  • To Conserve Man
Have you ever flown across the United States on a transcontinental flight? Did you notice that west of the Mississippi the population centers became sparser and sparser and the land more barren? You probably thought that that was natural. It's not. Here we reveal when, where and why the idea of Conservationism became a part of the American political mind. And why it is not the love of nature and the great outdoors that unifies environmentalists.

  • NAWAPA: The Lost Art of Bioengineering
Humankind’s harmony with nature is his ability to raise it to higher and higher levels of organization, and consequently our actions harmonize nature’s ability to be raised to higher and higher levels by man. This brings our species closer to completely managing the biosphere as a whole, increasingly giving us the power and ability to leave this planet in search of taking our graceful art of Bioengineering to remote distances. NAWAPA will be our first step in accomplishing that goal.

  • Changing Nature
Some say they are concerned about "saving the environment," but few think about the difference between improving nature and simply letting it be. The history of the Earth is one of constant change, and there is nothing special or fragile about current conditions. Instead of constancy, let's make things better!

  • Chlorophyll and the Infrastructure of Life
A video that explores a new concept of Infrastructure, one which takes into account Vernadskian phase-spaces, and the creativity of mankind in shaping the world around him to be more complex, organized, and developed.

  • Biogenic Migration of Atoms: Nitrogen
The nitrogen cycle is one of the many flows that are fundamental to the biogenic migration of atoms in the Biosphere and, potentially, beyond.

  • The Cosmic Implications of NAWAPA
An investigation into the electromagnetic processes of our planet, as they are connected to the broader domain of comic radiation, with emphasis on the interface of these processes with life in the oceans, and the implications this holds for man in the universe, as we intervene into this dynamic through the extended NAWAPA project.

  • Solar Cells versus Plant Cells: In Defense of Chlorophyll
by Oyang Teng and Sky Shields

The adoption of the North American Water and Power Alliance (NAWAPA) project will inaugurate an era of continental-scale infrastructure development that will revolutionize the very idea of infrastructure as mankind’s conscious management of the biosphere. As Vladimir Vernadsky wrote in 1945, "Mankind taken as a whole is becoming a mighty geological force. There arises the problem of the reconstruction of the biosphere in the interests of freely thinking humanity as a single totality. This new state of the biosphere, which we approach without our noticing, is the noösphere." ...

  • Concentrate on What Should be Done   Lyndon LaRouche

We want green all over the place. We're going to get rid of all these solar collector, they're just a fire hazard. We're going to get rid of all these windmills, out of kindness to birds. I mean, the bird you love, might be killed by a windmill, you know. It'd be in mourning, that's what mourning doves are for.

Anyway so, in any case, we've got to do certain things, as mandatory. And NAWAPA is going to mean the development of the environment, as a consequence of just what we're doing. Now, we're forced to think about this environment in a completely different way than most people were thinking about it up to now. ...

We're going to increase the amount of green, on this planet, on Earth, itself! We're going to have lush green growth, where you had dirty, old deserts. And we're going to have to manage the atmosphere: We've got to have a clean atmosphere, buddy. This is not a joke: Most of these guys, talking about clean air, are freaks because of the way they're talking about it, but we want clean air! What we would call natural systems, which tend to help that happen: one of the best things, is, increasing the water throughput, 2.7 times the amount of extra water we're putting through the system of the NAWAPA system is one of our first breaks in this direction.

We're going to have to manage the weather — again, in new ways, on a global scale.

  • Why Green Plants Hate Solar Cells: An Interview with Sky Shields

What does it really mean to be Green? Basement Research team member Sky Shields discusses the implications of the North American Water and Power Alliance. The project's intention to green the deserts and improve the conditions of our planet by regulating the temperature and keeping it cooler, and also facilitating the flow of materials necessary for life processes' sustenance, are just some of the environmental benefits of NAWAPA, while the current view of green policies, like the attempt to spread solar panels throughout the desert, will tend to heat the environment, and kill off and stifle many processes in nature, creating unsuitable conditions for life on our planet. So, don't you want to green the deserts with NAWAPA? If not, you may need to reconsider your idea of what it means to be green.

  • OTC: LPAC's program for anthropogenic climate change

  • OTC Evening Update August 21, 2010

Now what LaRouche PAC [and the CEC] is proposing is an end to the commercially accepted idea of “green”, and fostering a new concept for green. That a love for your planet means developing it, transforming the territory of its geography, taking natural processes and increasing their energy flux density. Building new sources of water, greening deserts, not simply laying some pipes in the ground, but literally changing the way that land and water interacts. To make this continent more inhabitable. And you begin a precedent for the types of Promethean acts that are now needed for the entire world. What I'm talking about of course is NAWAPA, which is something that we've been talking about here for some weeks, but we have a new interactive map (see larouchepac.com) that details and tours the various parts of this massive project, that among other things will bring new education paradigms, new employment, new sources of power and water and will serve as the first necessary step to expanding cognitive life to the Moon and Mars.

    Weekly Report with Lyndon LaRouche

"So now, you're creating, for every drop of water, that you conserve through NAWAPA, you're getting the equivalent of 2.7 drops of water, in the rainfall patterns going from west to east, across the United States territory. So now, you're changing the character, by going to green! And that means you have to rip up and destroy the solar collectors, which are a waste of money, and they are ecologically stupid. Because every territory you tear up to put in solar collectors out there, you are destroying the fertility of the land-area. So, the first thing you have to do, for conservation purposes, you have to rip up the solar collectors, which are the greatest threat to agriculture ever invented. It's insane!"

    Weekly Report with Lyndon LaRouche

"Well, one of the big problems we have, of course, is this idea of this greenie policy. Now, the greenie policy is very old in the world: It's the policy which was described by Aeschylus, in the Prometheus trilogy: Is to keep people stupid, by not allowing them to know how to use fire, or being allowed to use fire. Fire, of course, is the increase of energy flux-density, that's fire. And of course, that was forbidden."
