After Detroit, London Demands Smashing All Public-Employees Pensions, Healthcare
July 29, 2013 • 9:50AM

This is the message of the July 27-August 2 London Economist, the house organ of the Rothschilds, with a cover, lead editorial, and major article all dedicated to the lie that "PENSIONERS are pushing many cities and states towards financial crisis."

A recent Washington Post lead editorial made the same point, as did John Dizard in the London Financial Times of July 27. Time Magazine weighed in with a cover feature in its August 8 issue.

Lyndon LaRouche replied, "The point is not to worry about this. What you simply say is, all this proves that Wall Street has stolen everything,— so, therefore, we cancel Wall Street. Which is exactly the effect Glass-Steagall will have. And what these guys are screaming about, is they're afraid of Glass-Steagall. This is the only thing that's of any relevance."

"Monetary easing!" I mean, what the hell, stop the "monetary easing," and reverse it: You won't have a problem. The fraud is "monetary easing." It was a fraud imposed on the population, and this is the result of, first of all, the two terms of George W. Bush, and now Obama. You take those three-plus administrations out of reckoning, you eliminate most of this problem. That's what we should say,— not give a big argument, LaRouche concluded.

In Chicago, the city Britain's Tony Blair visits to send London's orders to Barack Obama, Mayor Rahm Emanuel laid off 1,000 teachers and another 1,100 school employees on July 22, blaming what he said was the State of Illinois' "failure" to deal with a supposed pension crisis. Just days earlier, Chicago's drastic three-notch credit-downgrade July 18 had been organized and demanded by the Commercial Club of Chicago, led by Obama's Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker, to make the same point. Emanuel had probably lobbied for the credit-downgrade as well; see Yves Smith's post of July 26 on www.nakedcapitalism.com.

"This is the British policy," LaRouche said. "How can London and so forth put something out? They are the ones who are proposing the mass murder. It's very explicit; the arguments around the world are explicit on this. We've got to cut back on pensions in order to kill people. We've got to kill people! Well, why don't they start with the British Monarchy?"
