Attacks on Obama's Drone Killings Continue

The major networks may try to bury the bipartisan anti-Obama filibuster, but the backlash against Obama, Brennan and Holder continues. There are hundreds of commentaries in media and in blogs internationally that praise Senators Rand Paul (R-KY) and Ron Wyden (D-OR) for going after the drone killings. One of the most notable is from Ray McGovern, the senior retired CIA officer who founded Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS) back in 2002 to oppose the Bush Administrations war on terror policy.

In a March 10 interview with Press TV, McGovern said that regarding the Benghazi attack that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans, Brennan knows that the U.S. mission "had an operation for arms smuggling to" the Syrian rebels trying to overthrow President Bashar al-Assad.

"Brennan has always been willing to do the dirty work of whatever president he served. [He] is whatever the president wants him to be. Obama is behind the drone program for reasons that boggle the mind," McGovern said. And, "When Bush wanted to kidnap people and put them in black prisons or give them to friendly intelligence services, so-called, to be tortured, Brennan was an open advocate of that," McGovern added.
