A "Firmer" Obama To Address Joint Session of Congress

September 3, 2009 (LPAC)—Obama aide David Axelrod assured a Politico interviewer on Tuesday that he, personally, is "not given to the hysteria that's endemic to this town."

Axelrod said the White House staff has come up with a "new strategy" to help recover from "a brutal August."

A new "more aggressive" Obama will "take back control of the debate after a grim month," in which Democrats were "spooked" by "rowdy town hall meetings" and plunging poll numbers. This has left Democrats "wounded, divided and uncertain of the best way to turn things around."

Axelrod outlined the big plan. Things will be "different — The president is going to be very active." Obama will address a joint session of Congress on Sept. 9 on the subject of health care — the day after Lyndon LaRouche's international webcast!

What will Obama say? Axelrod indicated to Politico that Obama is leaning towards lashing out at Democrats who are for a so-called "public option" within the health plan. And, the Wall Street Journal reports, Obama is going to be simultaneously lashing out at Republicans, such as Senators Chuck Grassley and Mike Enzi, whom Axelrod "doubts are negotiating seriously." Nero, anyone?

Axelrod is not hysterical. But he told Politico "We're in the eighth or ninth inning here ... there's not a lot of time to waste," as the White House stares at what Politico calls "a tumultuous — and wildly unpredictable — fall [sic] for Obama and his party."

You'll see, Axelrod asserted: Obama will soon "sign a health care law."

Meanwhile, George Soros's Moveon.org plans to hold a nationwide seance to counteract opposition to Obama.

"Participants will light candles, hold pictures, and share the names and stories of those suffering under the current health care system to show the desperate need for a real public health insurance option," MoveOn.org said in a statement announcing "vigils" at various locations.

A central feature was to be a "virtual vigil" on its website at 1 p.m. Eastern time Wednesday, to channel the late Senator Ted Kennedy. But a Soros seance is always in danger of summoning up the restless souls of the Jews he helped send off to Eichmann's death camps back in 1944-45.
