Washington Post Fails To Reinstate "Don't Mention LaRouche" Code

August 23, 2009 (LPAC)—Kathleen Parker, a right-wing columnist for the Washington Post Writers Group, tried desperately today to restore the rule that there must be no coverage of LaRouche, other than lies and ridicule—a rule which was shattered over the past weeks, as the truth of LaRouche's warning about the Nazi health care plan sinks in among the American people.

While Parker follows her own direction by leaving out the L-word, the subject of her op-ed is the poster with the Hitler moustache. Called "Summertime for Hitler," Parker writes that "The poster has become a favored accessory among some of America's squeakier wheels." She lies that there is "some debate" about where the poster comes from, despite the fact that LaRouche's authorship of the poster has been the leading subject of the blogs for two weeks. LaRouche noted that anyone who says they don't know where it came from is "clearly lying, and is clearly panicked."

After praising Barney Frank's hysterical outburst, "conservative" Parker calls the questioner (LaRouche Youth Rachel Brown—unnamed of course) an "escapee from the asylum." She asks: "Given the choice of company, which would you prefer?"—a question she would regret if she were at a town meeting in any part of the country these days.

Her attempt at putting the genie back in the bottle came at the end: "There is something we can do about Hitler. The moment he shows up in any form, turn off the cameras." Fat chance.

LaRouche also noted that this frantic effort to shut down the LaRouche coverage comes straight from the White House, from Rahm Emanuel in particular. "Rahm Emanuel says: 'Hitler doesn't exist, it's a myth—he never existed,'" quipped LaRouche.
