Nazi Health Care Blowback Now Has Obama's Cap-and-Trade on the Rocks

August 18, 2009 (LPAC)—Four Democratic Senators from Plains States wrote to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) on Aug. 14 saying they oppose passing the Obama White House's cap-and-trade legislation. The so-called Waxman-Markey green-fascist "global warming carbon tax" bill passed the House earlier this year, but with a popular mass strike in motion against Obama's policies, the defection of the four Senators—Blanche Lincoln (Ark.), Ben Nelson (Neb.), Kent Conrad and Byron Dorgan (N.D.)—appears to mean it can't pass the Senate.

The Senators propose instead passing a bill merely encouraging wind, solar, etc. without the carbon tax, the "cap-and-trade." But they're really being pushed by the uprising against Obama. Lincoln, in two weeks, has gone from echoing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi that the town hall protests were "un-American," to saying the health-care "reform" should be slowed down, this is the message of her constituents.

In a related development, the chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) raised the potential of Obama's green-fascist "energy" policy breaking the electric grid and causing regional blackouts in the United States. Chairman Jon Wellinghoff, speaking at a Chicago conference on Aug. 12, said that the funding Obama put in the American Recovery and Reinvestment ("stimulus") Act, to prepare high-voltage transmission for the additional load and remote distance of wind and solar supplies, is less than 5% of the $130 billion that is required. Power users, producers, and the U.S. Energy Department agree. Wellinghoff said that by adding more and more wind power, the grid will get more stressed, and at an early point it won't be able to handle any more. He said that what the nation needs is the "buildout" of a great deal more electricity transmission capacity.

What we really need is a shift to a nuclear fission-based economy with the goal of harnessing nuclear fusion.
