President Obama Flaunts His Nero Complex

June 27, 2009 (LPAC)—When Lyndon LaRouche first issued his public warning that President Obama suffered from a severe Narcissistic Disorder — what he referred to as his "Nero Complex" — many people responded with skepticism. But in recent days, as the intensity of opposition to his Hitler-modelled health care "reform" program has intensified, the President has almost gone out of his way to prove that LaRouche was right.

Senior members of Congress have confirmed that they are coming under intense pressure from the White House to sell out their constituents and go along with the President's euthanasia scheme, mis-labelled as universal health care reform. A number of Democratic Senators, including Diane Feinstein (CA) and Mary Landrieu (LA), have been directly threatened by top White House officials, with cut-off of all campaign funding, if they buck Mr. O, and have been subsequently targetted for public attack by George Soros and his Democracy Alliance-funded Jacobin dupes. And sources close to the White House confirmed that the President, himself, spent much of the day on Thursday, calling Members of Congress, to squeeze them to support the two most overtly fascist White House initiatives, the global warming cap and trade swindle, and the President's euthanasia board plan.

The President has been having a particularly hard time in his new role as salesman-in-chief for the euthanasia plans, according to some leading Democratic strategists and Congressional leaders, and this has drawn out his Nero-like rage at anyone daring to criticize. On Wednesday, despite ABC-TV's marathon propaganda effort on behalf of the White House health care reform plans, built around a long White House "town hall meeting" with President Obama, the verdict was that the President failed to deliver any compelling sell. Indeed, at a few points, he lost it and betrayed his full Nero-like obsession, lashing out at the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) for refusing to accept his fake numbers on the costs of his euthanasia plan. The CBO, he railed, does not "count all the savings that may come from prevention, may come from eliminating all the paperwork and bureaucracy because we've put forward health IT, it doesn't come from the evidence-based care and changes in reinbursement that I've already discussed about.... The CBO, which sort of polices what all various programs cost, they're not willing to credit us with those savings."

One media monitor, www.businessandmedia.org panned his town hall performance as "vague and longwinded," and the TV rating agencies reported that the audience was the smallest on any major network in that prime-time slot.
