Britain Pushes Forward With Its Nazi-Like Healthcare Policy

May 29, 2009 (LPAC)—The British Government is mercilessly pushing forward a free market ideology in healthcare, endangering people's lives in the spirit of the Nazi regime which it helped bring to power. The British health care model is the explicit model for many of the Nazi economists now working to ram through President Obama's health care plan.

Although new medical research reinforces the case for treating Alzheimer's patients early in the onset of the condition, National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE), government's rationing body, to assess the positive impact of the drugs, has ruled that three drugs — Aricept, Exelon and Reminyl — can only be prescribed for those with moderate Alzheimer's symptoms and not those in the early stages of the disease. NICE dismissively brushed aside the research study which said the patients have shown "excellent response to treatment" after just five months.

In addition, to cut down cost, NICE has issued its diktat saying patients with back pain should receive acupuncture through the National Health Service (NHS). Tens of millions of pounds are being wasted by the NHS on "useless" treatments for back pain, money that should be diverted to alternative therapies such as acupuncture and spinal manipulation, NICE said. Each session will cost the patients 40 pounds.

The worst affected patients may be offered up to 100 hours of physical and psychological treatment over eight weeks at a cost of £4,000 a head. But even this expense can be justified when set against long-term costs of existing ineffective treatments, disability benefits and lost production, NICE says.
