Sen. Rockefeller's New Medicare Bill is Modeled on Federal Reserve

May 28, 2009 (LPAC)—Sen. John D. "Jay" Rockefeller IV (D-W.VA), Chairman of the Senate Finance Subcommittee on Health Care, submitted a new bill on May 20, to authorize the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC, created in 1997)—which has been giving advice on rates of payment for treatment of 44 million enrollees in Medicare—to go further and set lists of approved treatment standards and have enforcement powers over health-care delivery and reimbursement. The bill is called, "The MedPAC Reform Act of 2009." Rockefeller's May 20 press release states that his intention is for MedPAC to be made up of "independent experts," as an "executive agency modeled after the Federal Reserve."

In fact, just as the Federal Reserve serves private financial interests, so the new health care reimbursement agency is to serve the HMOs, demanding their blood money.

Rockefeller asserts that a new, empowered MedPAC, would not be subject to whims of Congress. "To truly achieve trans formative health care reform, we need to separate the special interests from the decision makers," he said in an interview on his bill, with Washington Post health-care writer, Ceci Connolly. He said, "We must take Congress out of its current role.... It is inefficient and ineffective; we are not health-care experts, and being a deliberative body means that we cannot keep pace with the rapidly transforming health-care marketplace."

"N.I.C.E." — Nazi-Inspired Citizen-Eradication

In fact, the idea of setting up an "independent" national commission to decree what doctors and hospitals can and cannot do, is a favored sophism of both the apparent right and left sides of the Obama/Baucus health-care "reform" debate. It is designed to protect the money-flow right down the drain of the financial circles behind the HMOs. Until now, it has been disallowed in the United States. The model for an "independent" commission comes directly from Britain, called N.I.C.E.— National Institute for Clinical Excellence, set up 11 years ago, that decrees what medications, treatments, and services cannot be allowed to be given in the health-care system.

N.I.C.E. is more commonly known to stand for: Nazi-Inspired Citizen Eradication.

Rockefeller's latest bill is one of dozens recently filed in Congress, that have various slants, but are all consistent with the Nazi-medicine thrust, soon to be detailed in the Obama/Baucus/Grassley "comprehensive health care reform" act in June. For example, a new version was filed in the Senate last week, of the "Advance Planning and Compassionate Care Act," to aid citizens in deciding to reduce expensive treatment in their "end-of-life" experiences. It is sponsored by Rockefeller, Senators Susan Collins (R-Maine), Ron Wyden (D-Oregon), and others.

Rockefeller personally expresses backing for the principle of providing health care for all—especially children, and also for making Medicare open to enrolling people 55 years old and up; but he wants a Nazi control agency, modeled on Britain's, to decide when and how to cut care for the enrollees, so that the HMO system gets paid.
