Call for Perpetual War: Anglo-Saudi Fascists At It Again

January 6, 2009 (LPAC)--Barry Rubin, the Israeli/neo-con liar who helped prepare the "cooked'' intelligence on Iraq for Tony Blair's British Foreign and Commonwealth Office is now in the middle of a major Anglo-American-Saudi propaganda campaign to broaden the conflict in Southwest Asia and the Arab world into perpetual Dark Age war-fighting. Published in the New York Daily News today, Rubin writes an article hyping the Anglo Empire's dream of a Sunni/Wahhabi war against Iran and its allies. Rubin writes, "The bigger Middle East war: It's moderate Arabs against radical Islamists," saying: "The war in Gaza is the first chapter of a new era in the Middle East. The Arab-Israeli conflict is far from the region's dominant dispute. The Arab-Islamist conflict now overwhelms it--by a large margin."

Gloating over the anti-Hamas article in the Saudi press, Rubin says, "That's right. Arab nations' prime 21st century enemy is Iran and its allies: Syria, Hezbollah, Hamas and Iraqi terrorists.''

In a February 21, 2003 article, EIR exposed Rubin, the director of the Global Research in International Affairs Center (GLORIA) and editor of the Middle East Review of International Affairs (MERIA) Journal, both funded by Jabotinskyite fascist multi-millionaire, Ron Lauder, of the cosmetics fortune. The EIR article slammed Rubin and his masters at the British Foreign Office:"According to media accounts, the 10 Downing Street 'dossier,' cited favorably by U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell in his disastrous Feb. 5 [2003] report to the United Nations Security Council, was plagiarized from an American graduate school paper, based on information more than a decade old. The scandal that erupted when the Blair dossier hoax hit the press, seriously undermined the credibility of those war party advocates of an immediate Anglo-American invasion of Iraq. As Lyndon LaRouche wrote, `Powell was set up by a gang of public relations flacks who can't think straight.'"
